Building Social Sustainability Through Organ Donation Research at IIMB

Satyajit Roy is a PhD research scholar at IIM Bangalore in the Production and Operations Management area. His research interests are in the environmental and social sustainability value chains. One of his core research projects explores systemic inefficiencies in India’s organ donation ecosystem, where the deceased organ donation rate remains under one per million population (PMP). He is currently working under the guidance of Dr. Haritha Saranga, his Dissertation Advisory Committee Chair.
