IIMB expands horizons with launch of UG programmes in Economics & Data Science

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) held a press conference at its Bannerghatta Road campus, on 14^th July 2025, to announce two undergraduate programmes: BSc Honors in Economics (with a minor in Data Science and Business) and BSc Honors in Data Science (with a minor in Economics and Business), under the umbrella of the School of Multidisciplinary Studies. The IIMB leadership, including Dr. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIMB; Dr. P.D. Jose, Professor-in-Charge of the Institute’s second campus where the UG programmes will be delivered; Dr. Mukta Kulkarni, Dean of Academic Programmes; Dr. Sourav Mukherji, Dean of Alumni Relations & Development, and members of the media gathered for a detailed presentation on the Institute’s academic vision, design philosophy, and long-term roadmap for the new offerings.
