On 7th November, Prof. Ankit Kalda, Indiana University (Finance & Accounting area), spoke on ‘Partisan Inequality in Property Tax Assessments: A Fiscal Burden on Political Minorities’.
On 13th November, Dr. Jonah Rexer, World Bank, Economics area, spoke on ‘Heat Informality and Misallocation: Firm Adaptation in the Short and Long Run’.
The Office of Research and Publications also hosted a webinar on ‘Alcohol Consumption and Intimate Partner Violence: Long-Term Effects of a Temporary Alcohol Ban’, on 21st November. The webinar was led by Prof. Arnab Basu, Cornell University (Economics area).
