Dr. Gopal Das appointed as Associate Editor for Business & Society
Dr. Gopal Das, faculty from the Marketing area of IIM Bangalore, has been appointed as an Associate Editor for Business & Society, which is a premier peer-reviewed academic journal that covers the field of business. Prof. Das would serve in an independent role for the journal.
The research interests of Prof. Gopal Das include consumer emotion, motivation, scarcity, information processing, gift-giving, consumer receptivity to artificial intelligence, and retailing. He teaches courses on marketing management, marketing research, consumer behavior and experimental design. His papers have been published in international journals such as Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Retailing, European Journal of Marketing, Psychology and Marketing, Journal of Business Research, and Journal of Services Marketing.
