PhD student Sowmya Kini wins First Runner-up – Best Doctoral Dissertation Award for her paper at International Conference on Digital Organizations held at IIM Ahmedabad
Sowmya Kini, student of IIM Bangalore’s Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme from the Information Systems area, has won the First Runner-up – Best Doctoral Dissertation Award, for her paper titled, ‘Cancel on the App, Let’s Do This Directly: An Exploratory Study on Trust Paradox and Users’ Circumvention of Sharing Platforms’, at the International Conference on Digital Organizations (ICODO) 2023-24 Doctoral Workshop, held at IIM Ahmedabad on 16th December 2023.
This paper is part of her dissertation work. Providing guidance to her were her DAC Chair Dr. Rajendra K Bandi of the Information Systems area of IIMB, and her DAC members Prof. Ritu Tripathi, former IIMB faculty of the Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management area, and Dr. Shankar Venkatagiri, Chairperson and faculty, Information Systems area, IIMB.
