Jhansi Laxmi Ugar

Jhansi Laxmi Ugar, from the first cohort of NSRCEL’s Swavalambane, was chosen to be part of the Honourable Prime Minister of India’s ‘Lakhpati Didi Samvad’ at ICAR, Delhi. Through the Lakhpati Didi program, the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, aims to catalyze economic empowerment and financial independence among women in rural areas. Jhansi Laxmi Ugar comes from the Vishwa Prena SHG at Dharwad, Karnataka.
