The Data Centre and Analytics Lab (DCAL) hosted the Women in Data Science (WiDS) Bangalore Conference 2024 on 13th April 2024.
The Women in Data Science (WiDS) initiative aims to inspire and educate data scientists worldwide, regardless of gender, and to support women in the field. WiDS is a Stanford University initiative that includes a global conference, with more than 150 regional events worldwide; a ‘datathon’ encouraging participants to hone their skills using a social impact challenge, and a podcast featuring leaders in the field discussing their work, journey and lessons learnt.
