Cryptocurrency as an Asset Class
IIMBx will be launching another course titled: ‘Cryptocurrency as an Asset Class’. The course enables one to learn and understand the fundamentals of cryptocurrency and explore the instrument as an asset class in their investment portfolio.
The seven-week course will help participants learn about cryptocurrency, starting with its basics, throwing light on cryptocurrency’s history, moving gradually to the mechanism of how cryptocurrencies work, the associated pros and cons of crypto and Blockchain, and concluding with the regulations surrounding cryptocurrency. The course will cover the foundations of Blockchain technology, definitions of currency and how to assess the risks in this modern investment environment.
In this course, participants will learn what cryptocurrency is, how it works and the future outlook of cryptocurrency in an easy and simple fashion. The course will begin by explaining the various terminologies associated with cryptocurrency, covering the mechanism of Blockchain, the technology underlying cryptocurrency, etc., so that learners can explore the framework of cryptocurrency. As an illustration, participants will be taken through examples of bitcoins, how to transact in bitcoins, the properties, and the challenges associated with bitcoins. By the end of this course, learners will have a deep understanding of cryptocurrency, Blockchain technology and the realities of cryptocurrency.
