CSR roundtable in Mumbai explores role of innovation in creating meaningful social impact

At ‘Engineering Impact Through Innovation: A CSR Roundtable on Innovation-Led Impact’, hosted by NSRCEL in partnership with KPMG India at Mumbai, CSR leaders, corporate enterprises, start-up firms and ecosystem stakeholders came together to discuss how innovation can play a larger role in creating meaningful social impact.

The conversation explored the structural barriers that limit innovation funding – from short funding cycles and risk perception to impact measurement and board-level accountability. At the same time, it highlighted promising examples of how innovation is already being integrated into healthcare, livelihoods, skilling and financial inclusion initiatives.

As India looks to create jobs, drive inclusive growth and solve complex development challenges at scale, building stronger pathways between CSR, start-ups and innovation ecosystems will be increasingly important.
