EEP inaugurates 10th edition of Tanmatra: Women in Leadership Programme

Executive Education Programmes at IIM Bangalore inaugurated the 10th edition of Tanmatra: Women in Leadership Programme on 22 June 2026, marking a significant milestone in its journey of empowering women leaders across industries.

Conceived nearly a decade ago at a time when women-focused leadership development programmes were still relatively uncommon, Tanmatra was designed to support women professionals in strengthening their leadership capabilities, navigating career transitions and building meaningful professional networks. The programme is led by Programme Directors Dr. Vasanthi Srinivasan, Dean, Alumni Relations & Development and faculty of the Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management area, IIMB; Dr. Mukta Kulkarni, Officiating Dean, UG Programmes, Dean, Programmes, Chairperson, Office of International Affairs, and faculty of the Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management area, IIMB, and Dr. P D Jose, faculty of the Strategy area, IIMB.

The inaugural session reflected on the programme’s enduring purpose of enabling women leaders to learn, connect and grow, with emphasis on continuous development, reflective learning and the value of peer networks. Structured across three modules, the programme brings together a diverse cohort of women professionals who will become part of the IIM Bangalore Executive Education alumni network, joining a growing community of more than 250 women leaders across industries who have been part of the Tanmatra journey over the past decade.
