IIMB inaugurates Batch 17 of Business Analytics & Artificial Intelligence programme

IIM Bangalore’s Executive Education Programmes inaugurated Batch 17 of the Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (BAAI) programme with an engaging guest session by Dr. Rohit Punnoose, VP – Data Science & Global AI Leader at Assurant, on the theme, ‘Applications of AI in the Retail Industry’. The session provided participants valuable practical insights into how Artificial Intelligence is transforming the retail sector, covering areas such as demand forecasting, supply chain optimization, pricing strategies and customer experience enhancement through real-world examples. The Programme Directors, Dr. U Dinesh Kumar, Dr. Jitamitra Desai and Dr. Ananth Krishnamurthy, also interacted with the participants.
