Innovation and sustainable social impact: An Impact Orbit session
As part of Impact Orbit, a CSR initiative by Capgemini in partnership with NSRCEL, NSRCEL hosted an event, ‘Impact Mixer’, that brought together social innovators for insightful conversations and meaningful connections.
The event opened with the ‘Founder Spotlight’ session featuring Sriram Shankar, Co-founder, Goodera, who reflected on his entrepreneurial journey and shared lessons on building an impact-driven enterprise. This was followed by a compelling panel discussion on, ‘Scaling Grassroots Innovation: The Shift Toward Impact-First CSR’, featuring Bibhuti Ranjan Pradhan, Executive Director (CD & CSR), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL); Dr. Meghana Shashidhar, Compliance & Corporate Citizenship Manager, Daimler Truck Innovation Center India (DTICI); Saumil Majmudar, Co-founder & MD, EduSports by Sportz Village and CEO & MD, SportzVillage; Sakina Baker, Head – CSR, Bosch Limited & Bosch India Foundation, Bosch India; and Dr. Archana Pillai, Resident Mentor, NSRCEL and Founder & Director, 86B Research and Advisory.
The conversation explored how corporate enterprises, start-ups, philanthropy and ecosystem stakeholders can work together to accelerate grassroots innovation and build purpose-led CSR partnerships that create sustainable social impact.
