Inauguration of Programme on Capital Structure Decision and Project Finance
The Custom programme for Class A officers of Central and State Governments dealing with Infrastructure projects, sponsored by the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, was inaugurated on 11th September 2023.
The objective of this five-day programme was to provide the participants with an understand of the financial aspects of creating economically viable infrastructure projects. It also provided them with an understanding of Risk Analysis, Management of Long-term Contracts and Dispute Resolution.
The cohort was addressed (online) by Mr Antony Cyriac, Advisor, Capacity Building Unit, Infrastructure Policy & Planning Division, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
Dr. MS Narasimhan, faculty in the Finance and Accounting area at IIMB, was the Programme Director.
